Rare Hamilton U.S. Navy USN Buships Military Watch Estate Runs Needs Service

Here is a vintage and rare Hamilton USN Buships Military Watch. This watch was produced by Hamilton for the U.S. Navy. If you look closely just above the USN, you can see “Hamilton” in black lettering on the black dial. This is from an estate sale and runs but needs service.

Manual wind movement runs intermittently. Sometimes it runs for a few second and sometimes a few hours. Service history is unknown. I got this from an estate sale so service is highly recommended for accuracy.

Crystal has scratches and scuffs but I think it shadows beautifully on the dial.

Case and case back does have dings and scratches.

Leather strap is used and shows signs of wear. Not original to the watch.

Like all vintage watches, may not be waterproof. Recommend a service and pressure test if you want to get it wet.

This is a magnificent vintage watch. A must for any vintage Hamilton, Military or Watch collector.
