DESCRIPTION

Introducing the first IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar IW502308 offered in stainless steel. As a caliber 51613 timepiece, there are numerous eye-catching features on this 1/500-made watch. The subdial layout at 3, 6, and 9 indicates the date, month, and day. The power reserve indicator is placed into the date subdial and the running seconds hand is tucked into the day subdial – both furnished with red hands for pops of color. At 7:30 sits the four-digit year indicator. And last but certainly not least, the elegant moon phase subdial is placed at 12 o’clock. Protecting the pristine silver-plated dial is a convex scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The case back is also furnished with a sapphire crystal for a view of the awesome movement inside the watch, intricately finished with a Côtes de Genève motif. This timepiece is fitted with a new black alligator leather strap equipped with a stainless steel deployant clasp. There is a spare worn brown alligator leather strap included.

Additionally, there is a replacement date wheel included, So be sure to set an appointment with your IWC-authorized horologist in 175 years to have that year date wheel changed out.

CONDITION

Watch is beautiful and in excellent+ condition. The watch has a new (unworn) black alligator leather strap. The brushed side of the case has some very, very small imperfections in the finish but are nearly impossible to see with the naked eye. We did not try to remove these as it would change the entire profile and beauty of the case and they are very difficult to even see. The box is original and has some dings and storage wear. Manual and warranty card are also included. All photos are taken by our in-house photographer of the actual item and is the best visual description of the condition we can provide.
