Contex Military Pilot Wrist Watch 38mm Jumbo Black Dial Mechanical Runs Estate

Here is a vintage Contex Military Pilot Wrist Watch. This black and gray 38mm watch was huge for its time. It was so pilots could easily read the dial while flying.

Manual wind movement runs and keeps good time.

Unknown when last service was done. Recommend service for accuracy.

Dial and hands does have patina due to age.

Front crystal has scratches but no cracks. It can be buffed out but I think it shadows beautifully on the dial.

Case and caseback does have scratches and scuffs which adds to the rugged charm.

Single pass green nato is used and has signs of wear. Not original to the watch.

This is a magnificent watch, a must for any pilot, military or watch fan.
