Omega Constellation Double Eagle Co-axial Chronograph 1519.51.00 Box & Papers

The 🅾️Ⓜ️EG🅰️ constellation collection was first introduced in 1952 and has had numerous reiterations still being produced till date. The Constellation lineup is known to be 🅾️Ⓜ️EG🅰️’s first mass produced chronometer. Over the years, there have been different re-editions to the collection and this is where the Double Eagle steps in. One of the peculiar changes seen on the Double Eagle model is the “Griffin Claw”, serving to improve the water resistance rating in its predecessor model. Now, that design is just an integral part of the Constellation line-up.

The now discontinued Double Eagle was 🅾️Ⓜ️EG🅰️’s first ever Co-axial Chronometer Chronograph watch with its unique and gorgeous roman numeral lacquered bezel. This is in fact a steel bezel with black lacquer finish giving it a bold presence and contrast against the wrist. This watch also features an integrated bracelet that allows for better conformity against the wrist, and also has an 18k gold 🅾️Ⓜ️EG🅰️ logo at the clasp. The Dial is gorgeous and the reverse panda color-play gives so much allure. Under low light conditions, the watch also has a handsome lume on the hands.

Overall, the watch is in both great mechanical and cosmetic condition with some very minor signs of wear. This watch was originally purchased in 2013 and was also serviced by 🅾️Ⓜ️EG🅰️ in 2016 with its service papers also included. The Crystal and Anti-reflective coating are in pristine condition as well as the open sapphire case-back. This comes as a very full set including:
